Shrasti Samajik Sansthan has created awareness in all issues (Education, Swinflu, Child Labor, importance of clean environment) in all area of Kanpur city with the collaboration of other NGOs but more focused on the slums of Transport Nagar and Dhaknapurva. The details are as follows:

Impact of Awareness Program:

Through this entire awareness program Shrasti Samajik Sansthan created awareness on the following issues and monitored the impact by taking the sample of Transport Nagar by conducting FGD and groups meeting. We found that the community peoples are more aware of this issues, major impact was seen on the ladies regarding health issues and the education of their children.

Previously very less peoples from the community have access to the good doctors, when the health condition become very pitiful then they uses to go to local practicing doctors but now they have access to good doctors and some of them are also trying to get treated from the Govt. hospitals like Heilet, Ursala. Now they started to take precautions to prevent themselves from seasonal disease and mothers are taking special care of their kids.

Now community peoples also realized the importance of education and started to send their children in Non-formal schools.
